Paid a
visit to a few businesses around the school namely the Emerald Supermarket
and other businesses on the marled area opposite to Chefette Restaurant. This
in in response to a passionate complaint laid by one business owner who
reported that students at the school had damaged his plumbing and others were
engaging in gambling and smoking in the period just before lunchtime. He also
mentioned that students were stashing weapons under some of the buildings on
the marled area in Six Roads. A search was made by me, but nothing was
recovered. I also made a quick check to make students had vacated the Emerald
City super Mart. |

Students of the third and fourth year were encouraged to have a positive mindset in setting goals and preparing for the world of work. Students were reminded
about the importance of education as their way out of poverty. Some students
were urged to desist from creating distractions which disrupts teaching and
learning in the classroom. |

I
consulted with the leader of the Princess Margaret Secondary School’s
Positive Behavioural Management Program to establish where I could
contribution in support of this effort. We discuss my intentions in working
in conflict resolution. It is hope that equipping staff and students with the
necessary tools for resolving conflict will impact positively on the school’s
environment. He offered advice about overcoming preconceived ideas about
others while we carry out our purpose. |
